As a Front Desk Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome visitors, monitor access activity, and support security-related procedures through professional communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting entrants, checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in support of security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries, visitor arrivals, and other front desk activity tied to security-related policies.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, visitor activity, and/or unusual conditions while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
