Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Hagerstown, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail-related location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to questions and documenting activity. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols for the location.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, checking in guests, issuing badges or visitor credentials, and/or maintaining front desk logs and records.
Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership, first responders, and/or Allied Universal management when appropriate.
Support front desk operations by answering phones, directing foot traffic, documenting activity, and reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues through proper channels.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a professional presence at the reception area and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
