As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badge check-in, monitor cameras and alarm panels, and document security-related activity with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, contractors, and vendors; verify identification, issue temporary badges, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with location requirements.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and entry devices; report irregular activity and/or maintenance issues to Allied Universal supervision and location contacts.
• Answer and route incoming calls, support employee check-in processes, and communicate directions and/or instructions to visitors while maintaining a professional lobby presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns per post orders.
