As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity while delivering reliable service, staying agile in changing situations, and supporting your team in a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors, verify identification and appointment details, and route guests according to location protocols.
• Monitor lobby activity and access control points, manage keys, badges, and/or visitor credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and escalating notifications per site guidelines.
• Complete required logs and reports, communicate with site staff and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related administrative tasks as assigned.
