As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors, verify identification and appointment details, and route guests according to location protocols.
  • Monitor lobby activity and access control points, manage keys, badges, and/or visitor credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregular activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and escalating notifications per site guidelines.
  • Complete required logs and reports, communicate with site staff and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related administrative tasks as assigned.
