Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby Access in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients. In this stationary role, you will help support access management, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel during emergencies.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and communicate relevant information to staff and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining awareness of activity at the front desk, reporting unusual behavior or conditions, and following established response procedures.
