Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following Allied Universal post orders, access procedures, and other site-specific security-related policies.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary credentials when authorized, manage the visitor log, and direct guests to the appropriate destination while supporting a professional lobby experience.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control, and report irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with on-site staff and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports for daily activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications, and maintain control of keys, badges, and other access items as assigned.
