Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Perimeter Rounds in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing assigned security-related duties.
Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
