Job Description As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Kihei, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and site matters.
- Assist in controlling access to the property and monitor entry points as required by site-specific instructions.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal policies.
