You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees, contractors, and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and utility-restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious behavior per site guidelines.
• Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and maintenance or service requests, using required systems and/or written logs.
