As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting while supporting site operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements, backed by our agile, reliable, and integrity-driven teamwork culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badge processes, and directing traffic to approved locations.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document patrol observations, and communicate shift handoff information to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
