As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with on-site teams, and support a welcoming customer experience. Bring your valid driver’s license to meet AU Driver Policy Requirements while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge checks, and visitor sign-in requirements at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, document observations, and communicate unusual activity through the appropriate channels.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and pass-on notes, and support site rules compliance such as controlled deliveries, truck gate procedures, and restricted-area protocols.
