About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Gate Control in Gardner, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures, including monitoring visitor and employee movement within the facility.
Provide customer service by addressing questions and concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address and report issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards observed during shifts.
Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
