As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Team in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this role, you will support access awareness and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location serving community members.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor direction, staff interactions, and/or de-escalation support when needed.
- Document daily activities, observations, and/or incident information in required logs and reports while following post orders and site protocols.
