As a Security Officer Driver Intake in Gluckstadt, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help monitor access at a busy location, screen visitors and/or materials, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
• Screen individuals, visitors, and/or items entering the location in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report concerns or irregularities to the appropriate contact.
