As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and report any suspicious activity.
Communicate with hotel or resort personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters as needed.
Assist with access control procedures and visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Support emergency response activities, including guiding guests and staff during incidents or evacuations as appropriate.
