About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Driver in Cle Elum, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure environment for guests and staff. You will remain visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, and you will be part of a team that values reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior within the hotel and resort environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
  • Support hotel and resort staff and guests with security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
