About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Driver in Cle Elum, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure environment for guests and staff. You will remain visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, and you will be part of a team that values reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior within the hotel and resort environment.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
Support hotel and resort staff and guests with security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
