As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will contribute to a secure environment while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as needed.
Assist guests and staff with security-related inquiries and directions, promoting a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address concerns and support a secure atmosphere for all occupants.
