As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related calls while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, help to deter incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Guard Card/License is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to clinical leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual conditions, and support an orderly environment.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and assist with wayfinding while maintaining awareness of restricted zones.
Document patrol activity and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, complete required logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
