About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Security Driver in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Vaccinations are required for work at this hospital site.
  • Duties may include working in the hospital morgue.
  • Duties may include restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures and visitor management as required by the facility.
  • Communicate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to relay relevant information and coordinate response efforts.
