As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and your Allied Universal team while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout clinical and administrative areas, entrances, waiting rooms, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help maintain orderly movement of patients, staff, and visitors.
Document incidents, hazards, and unusual activity, complete required reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
