As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control, visitor management, and other security-related procedures in a healthcare facility, following site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, corridors, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, damaged property, and unsecured doors.
Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other systems as assigned, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel of security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assistance, requesting emergency services when needed, and following post orders for medical and biohazard-related areas.
Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and access activity, and coordinate with facility staff and/or local responders to support orderly operations.
