Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols Full-Time in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, engaging with staff, patients, and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support the well-being of those on site.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals, following site protocols.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and emergency personnel during incidents and/or drills as required.
Complete detailed and timely reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
