Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with those you encounter. Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support access control processes and visitor management as required by location policies.
Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management during peak periods or special events within the healthcare location.
