Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hospital employees must provide proof of vaccination as required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or unusual activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious, unsafe, or unusual conditions, and communicate findings to appropriate personnel as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as part of Allied Universal's procedures.
