Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Chattanooga, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must meet all hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Applicants may be required to work in the hospital morgue.
  • Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns within the location.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed logs of activities and observations.
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
