As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Vaccines are required for work in hospital environments.
Work may involve duties in hospital morgue settings.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in hospital environments.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, staff, and patients while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
