Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds in Palm Springs, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports for site management and Allied Universal.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
