Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Support in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination is required for this hospital position.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as part of their duties in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to report and document incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
Assist with the implementation of emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns as required by location protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance and assistance to all individuals on the premises.
