Requirements

Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the healthcare setting.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor flow to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the operational needs of the healthcare location.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies, while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.
Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols, maintaining accurate and timely records.
