About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related hazards within the healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Document all incidents and security-related activities clearly and accurately according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits, to help to deter unauthorized entry.
