Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Chattanooga, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to complete rounds and respond to calls. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Hospital: Vaccines is required.
  • Hospital: Morgue is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
  • Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff, facility management, and local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by post and shift.
  • Monitor access points and alarms, help manage visitor flow and/or deliveries, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or hazards according to post orders.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, and communicate key information during shift changes to support continuity of operations.
