Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this role, you will stay visible, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted and public areas by verifying authorization, directing foot traffic, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
Support a government healthcare location by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns.
