As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed.
Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
