As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence and outstanding customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment. You will assist with various hospital needs, including special areas such as vaccine distribution points and the morgue, and may help with restraining individuals when necessary. Requirements

Vaccines are required for work in hospital environments.
Work in hospital morgue environments is required.
Restraint of individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the well-being of individuals at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address concerns and provide assistance as needed within the healthcare setting.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and instructions to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.
Remain alert and observant at all times while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
