As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and regular patrols. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs according to company and location protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required in response to incidents.
