As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and regular patrols. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs according to company and location protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required in response to incidents.
