As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and site management specific to the automotive environment.
Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
