Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Morgue Screener in Escondido, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, including sensitive environments such as hospital morgues. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen all individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed.
• Monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.
• Remain alert and attentive while performing screening duties, adapting to changing conditions within the healthcare location.
