About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Morgue Screener in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, including sensitive environments such as hospital morgues. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen all individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed.
Monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.
Remain alert and attentive while performing screening duties, adapting to changing conditions within the healthcare location.
