Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital vaccinations are required.
- Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and reporting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, observe for suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents according to site protocols.
- Support hospital operations by communicating with staff and emergency responders when needed, providing directions, and helping with orderly responses to security-related situations.
