Requirements

Hospital: Vaccines is required.
Hospital: Morgue is required.
Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct entrance screening activities, such as verifying approved access points, observing for prohibited items, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in areas based on site procedures.
Support visitor management by confirming identification and/or appointment information as directed, issuing access credentials when required, and routing guests to the correct department.
Monitor and control access through designated screening areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items from entering the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
Operate screening and access control equipment as assigned, such as walk-through detection, hand-held wands, and/or X-ray systems, and report equipment issues through the appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns according to policy.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnovers to maintain continuity of security-related operations.
