As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations as outlined by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and/or evacuations as required by site protocols.
