About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Campus Patrol in EVERETT, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare research location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and monitor access points and activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a customer-focused presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or other security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor flow, verify credentials when required, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, corridors, and restricted or controlled areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear direction to others and promptly notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed written reports, log entries, and/or incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff to support consistent security-related operations.
