Security Officer - HOA Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - HOA Patrol Driver in Royal Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential community, where you will perform routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident and visitor needs with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, using a company-approved vehicle to check community areas, support access control points, and document observations. Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter points to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and community gates as assigned, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor management and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Respond to alarms, calls for service, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request additional support from local emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate pertinent information to supervisors, property management, and/or oncoming personnel.
