Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will also include operating as a driver as part of your daily duties. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications for the location, facilitating prompt dispatch of personnel as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, dispatches, and communications according to established protocols.
  • Assist in helping to deter disruptive activity by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring security-related systems.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff to support emergency response activities and coordinate appropriate actions.
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions typical of healthcare locations while upholding Allied Universal standards.
