About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols appropriate for healthcare settings.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals during drills or real emergencies.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual behavior, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the healthcare location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
