You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Experience working in a hospital morgue environment is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Screen individuals entering the facility, verifying identification and/or purpose of visit in accordance with site protocols.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly flow of people.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as required by site guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
