You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience working in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
  • Screen individuals entering the facility, verifying identification and/or purpose of visit in accordance with site protocols.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly flow of people.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as required by site guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
