As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
Follow post orders and directives specific to the healthcare location, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
