As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and to observe for any unusual activity.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or assisting with visitor management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
