As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and to observe for any unusual activity.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or assisting with visitor management.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
